Intrauterine and barrier contraception

Abstract 

This article will examine some of the recent developments in intrauterine contraceptive technology and barrier methods and how these have affected the efficacy and acceptability of these methods. It will also look at the role of barrier methods in reducing sexually transmitted infection and address concerns about pelvic infection and the use of intrauterine contraception.
