Dysmenorrhoea

Abstract 

Dysmenorrhoea is a common condition affecting women of reproductive age and is encountered by all specialists in obstetrics and gynaecology. It is most usually an idiopathic condition, but may be secondary to other processes. This article explores the incidence, pathophysiology, and diagnosis of dysmenorrhoea. The therapies utilized in treating dysmenorrhoea will also be discussed.
